Developed by Mary Elizabeth Anderson
and Wayne State students as part of the
community theater program, Found

illuminate two intertwined stories about
the way people can get lost and found in

part of our Family Sunday series before
it begins a tour to Detroit-area schools.

The Oregon Shadow Theater’s
"Thumbelina"

land of flowers to music of the 1960’s
and 70’s. Awarded a UNIMA citation for
excellence in puppetry, Thumbelina is
performed with live music played on
hammer dulcimer, electric guitar and
an assortment of percussion devices.

"The Snow Queen"
Eulenspiegel’s adaptation of this Hans

story follows Gerda as she travels to the
ends of the earth to save her best

meeting a host of eccentric characters
along the way. Performed in

Guild’s National Day of Puppetry
festivities at the Livonia Public Library.

Rolling into town, an old covered cart
brings with it the acrobats, jugglers and
lion tamers that make up this colorful
